Overview

Check/In helps you schedule personal check-ins. You write the messages, and the app reminds you when it is time to review and send them.

Information we access

  • Contact details you select, such as contact name and phone number.
  • Message content you write for a scheduled check-in.
  • Schedule details, including cadence, next reminder time, and time zone.
  • Account information needed for sign-in, sync, and subscription status.

How we use information

  • Contact details are used to create check-ins and open your phone's message composer.
  • Message content is used to prefill the composer when you choose to send.
  • Reminder data is used to schedule local notifications and keep your check-ins current.
  • Account data is used for authentication, sync, support, and subscription access.

Storage and syncing

Check-ins are stored locally on your device first and synced to your account so they can be restored securely. We do not sell your data.

Message sending

Check/In does not send messages automatically. At the reminder time, the app opens your phone's message composer and you choose whether to send.

Data retention

You can delete check-ins in the app. You can also delete your account from the Account tab, which removes account-scoped check-in data tied to your user account.

Children's privacy

Check/In is not intended for children under 13.
